About Awana
Awana is a vibrant ministry at Pine City Evangelical Free Church where children grow deep roots in their faith. We invite children from age 4 through 6th grade to join us for an evening of Scripture memorization, engaging games, and biblical lessons that build a lasting foundation in Christ.
Join Us
Awana meets every Wednesday evening from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at our South Campus located at 625 Golf Avenue SW, Pine City. The program runs through the school year, beginning in September and concluding at the end of April.
The Mission
We serve families by providing a warm and safe environment where every child feels like a valued member of our church family. By focusing on God's Word, we aim to equip the next generation with the wisdom and grace needed to follow Jesus daily.
Awana Groups
Our Awana program is split into three exciting clubs tailored for different ages. Cubbies welcomes 4 to 5 year olds to a world of fun. Children enjoy games and creative crafts while learning about Jesus. Sparks is designed for Kindergarten through 2nd graders. These kids learn essential truths about God and salvation. They focus on Scripture memory and learn roughly 65 verses over three years. Truth & Training, or T&T, is for our 3rd through 6th graders. This group teaches God's Word and trains kids to follow Christ in their daily lives. We focus on building a strong spiritual foundation and preparing future church leaders.
