Global Missions

Spreading of the Gospel to the nations at home and abroad.

We partner with multiple men and women as they work to spread the gospel here in the United States and abroad.  While, for security reasons, not all of our missionaries can be featured here, we invite you to connect with these individuals, learn more about their work, and join us in prayerful support of their ministries.

Mark & Chris Allen

Our ministry is to meet the unique spiritual, emotional and family needs of emergency response personnel internationally.  We do this by partnering with national evangelical churches and pastors to plant chaplain ministries among police, fire and emergency medical personnel in third world countries.  Emergency service providers are exposed to extremely stressful situations.  Exposure to such danger can lead to Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.  Without assistance they often turn to inappropriate coping mechanisms such as Alcohol Abuse, Domestic Violence, Marriage and Family problems.  We provide quality training to pastors and fire fighters in the areas of CIDS (Critical Incident Stress), Domestic Violence Awareness, Marriage & Family training, occasional firefighting equipment donation, and mission teams.  There are millions of emergency responders apart from God all over the globe.  The need to share Christ with these people is great.

Aaron and Becky Bryant

There is a great need for the Gospel in rural Paraguay.  SIM Paraguay currently partners with four churches in the Caazapá and Guairá departments.  These churches vary greatly in style, demographics, and location, but each has a common need to be encouraged and equipped to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ in Paraguay and the world! Aaron, Becky and the family are working primarily to serve and equip these church bodies through relationship, prayer, encouragement, and teaching.  Additionally, Centro Educativo Internacional (CEI) is a private Christian Paraguayan school in the city of Villarrica, serving children K-12.  Becky hopes to serve Christ and the CEI staff/students by advocating, mentoring, in addition to recruiting short term teachers (Paraguayans), in order that God be glorified in rural Paraguay!

The Bryants have five rambunctious, brave, and fun boys: Samuel, Henry, Elliot, Theo, and Abraham.

Gary and Carol Geisler

“CRU City” is an adult ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ.

“We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone BUILT UP in Christ.” – Colossians 1:28

We are all in the process of building our lives. Through the one to one discipleship process we help men and women lay a solid foundation for life based on the principles of God’s Word. We desire to see men and women grow in their faith so that they can help others come to know Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Our desire is to see spiritual multiplication taking place.

Ministry Goal
We help others learn to apply Biblical principles about God, our relationship with Him and our relationship with others. This one to one spiritual mentoring process is to develop men and women who are GREAT COMMISSIONED FOCUSED. They, in turn, pass what they have learned on to others. Seeing spiritual multiplication take place is our goal.

Ministry Values
We believe the Christian life is FAITH EXPERIENCED (Colossians 2:6)
We believe the Christian life is PROCESS DEVELOPED (II Corinthians 5:17)
We believe the Christian life is RELATIONALLY TRANSFERRED (2 Timothy 2:2)
We believe the Christian life is HOLY SPIRIT DIRECTED (Ephesians 5:18)
We believe the Christian life is LOVE MOTIVATED (John 14:15)

Paul DeVall

In 2007, Paul and Denise with their 4 boys stepped out in faith believing that God would show them their next ministry. He directed them to Village Missions. In April of 2008, the DeValls joined VM to serve in a church in rural North America. They served a church for 6 years in central Minnesota.

Now Paul serves in Wrenshall, Minnesota, at SonLife Community Church. Paul pastors the church as well as reaches into the community by being involved in the local school. As he builds relationships there, doors have opened to share the gospel. We invite you to partner with Paul and Village Missions to develop spiritually vital rural churches through your encouragement, prayer, and financial partnership.

Ross and Jane McAfee

Ross and Jane McAfee serve with Operation Mobilization (OM) at the US office near Atlanta, Georgia.  OM is an international, interdenominational missions agency. Founded by George Verwer in 1957, OM has ministries in over 100 countries and on board our ship, Logos Hope.

For 11 years (1975-86), Ross was the high school vocal music teacher in Pine City.  Ross & Jane also led the youth group (Young Redeemed) for 6 years (1976-82), and were involved in other local ministries.

After being challenged with the opportunity to combine music with missions, Ross and Jane joined OM.  In July 1986, they were commissioned and sent out by this church and flew with their two young children to Monrovia, Liberia to join OM’s mission ship, M.V. Doulos. Their initial two-year commitment caused their interest in missions to grow into a lifetime commitment.

In 1991, they joined OM USA to work in the US office.  Currently, Ross serves as the Director of Ministry Projects.  In his role, he assists the OM USA President in leading strategic projects that help fulfill the purposes of OM USA.  Jane’s role in OM is serving missionaries.  She currently serves as People Care Specialist and is the primary contact for 60 of our American Missionaries working in Africa and Western Europe.  She also provides week-long debriefs for missionaries when they return to the US during transition or furlough.

Ross & Jane are the parents of two grown children.  Their daughter, Jill, was on staff with OM for 10 years and is now living and working in Atlanta.  Their son, Travis, works as an Art Director in Atlanta.  He and his wife, Liz, are the parents of four children.  Ross & Jane love being grandparents and are grateful to live close enough to be an integral part of their lives.
